Palo Verde

Hello Palo Verde brave person 🙂

The Palo Verde Web site is undergoing changes at the moment, and will hopefully be up and live in the next few weeks. 

If you are at this page, you have either stumbled across it inadvertantly, in which case – sorry, computers do the weirdest things – or you have been considering putting together a mini Web site (blog) for your class, and need some help getting there.

I have deliberatly chosen WordPress for Palo Verde – it is free, it is really easy to use, it doesn’t put ads on your pages, and it lets you do more than most of the others. 

So here’s the plan:

Start by reading the welcome page, then move onto the start here page where I am compiling information in the order I hope is most useful.

If at any point something doesn’t make sense or you have a question, please use the comment box (at the bottom of each page), or send me an e-mail at (lidija at jolijama dot com).  The advantage of the comment box is others can read what you have written, and also comment, which means at some point in the future, we would have compiled a fairly comprehensive tool for teachers.

Getting teachers online has been set up to help make your move to the blogosphere as gentle as possible, so please bear with me while I put together more content and links, and play with the navigation to make it easy to follow.

It really will eventually free up your time, it’s just a matter of getting used to a new software package.  I will do my best to help you if you get stuck; I am also happy to do the initial setup of the site for you.
